I suggest reinstalling Vista and making use of AVAST virus protection. By far the best you can get and it doesnt clutter your technique with useless crap like most virus scanners do.

    Hello-
I had that problem with my old computer.I my case, it meant my computer did not have enough memory.
In your case I would reccomend:
    Reinstall Vista
    More RAM

    Hope this helps!

If you type “vista cpu 100″ in your search engine, you will get more hits than you would for “100 girls”. This is a major problem that Vista has caused for many users. I had the problem and found out that it was the indexing causing it. But that was in my case. If you read through some of the complaints, you’ll see many more causes. This is just one of many reasons that Vista did not get the popularity of XP. There are just too many possibilities of what could be causing it to list them out here. Try doing a Yahoo! or Google search and going through the forums that are listed.
