Restore your iPod,
Now you can either purchase the three. file from iTunes
or download it from the Net, just search for 3. iPod touch update( there are loads of vids on YouTube with links to the file.)

Firstly, Update or Restore the ipod to 3.0 with that 3.0 firmware you have… Connect the ipod and launch itunes… Now press and hold shift and press either “Restore’ or ‘update’ (while holding shift)… Then select the 3.0 firmware you have and it will upgrade to 3.0….
After the ipod touch is upgraded to 3.0, then launch Redsnow. It will ask you for the firmware, so give the firmware to it… It will mod it and then ask you to follow on screen procedure… Once you follow all the things, the ipod will be jailbroken… If the firmware is corrupted, I suggest you download a new one from below link.
