You won’t have any problems with your camera as a carry on. In fact, that’s the only way to take it. Never put it in your checked bag. I carried a D50 and now a D80 on the plane all the time. A bag that will hold the camera and accessories will fit under the seat so you can take it as a "personal item" and still take a regular carry on bag too. The only thing they hassle you about is video cameras for some reason. Video cameras and laptop computers have to be taken out of the bag and run through the scanner separately.

No problem going through the X-Ray machine either. That might hurt film but it won’t faze digital, even with the memory card in it.

It’s pretty educational and entertaining, but skip to 5:45 into the video, it’ll tell you what to do and how to get it on the plane :) 6:50 is helpful when it comes to security and checking packages - very important.

You shouldn't have any trouble carrying your camera on board. For sure you don't want to put it in your checked luggage! They are used to seeing electronics such as cameras and computers and dvd players and many other things going through the screen process at airports. When you get to the area, put your camera in one of the bins that they have there on the belt. It will go through the machine with no problem--it won't hurt the camera (unless you drop it getting it in or out of the bin!). You may have to open the bag, but not necessarily. It would be similar to a woman's purse and we don't have to open them. It all just goes through the screener.

The only time I had any kind of problem with electronics was when flying internationally and I had a "new fangled" voltage converter in my laptop bag. They just inspected it manually and all was well.

I've seen lots of photos from out plane windows on Flickr, so I'm sure lots of people use their cameras on the plane. I usually use my plane ride home to go through my photos and start editing them on my laptop.

Have fun in Florida, and take lots of photos!

The X-ray machines will not affect your digital SLR. Have fun on your trip and don't worry about the camera. It'll be fine.

I took my Nikon 40DX on a trip this summer and had no problems at all. The following is from the Travel Security Administration website -

Photographic Equipment & Film Transporting Film and Photographic Equipment
Photographic Equipment You may carry one (1) bag of photographic equipment in addition to one (1) carry-on and one (1) personal item through the screening checkpoint. The additional bag must conform to your air carrier's carry-on restrictions for size and weight. Please confirm your air carrier's restrictions prior to arriving at the airport.
Air carriers may or may not allow the additional carry-on item on their aircraft. Please check with your air carrier prior to arriving at the airport.
Our screening equipment will not affect digital cameras and electronic image storage cards.
Film The equipment used to screen checked baggage will damage undeveloped film. Pack your undeveloped film in your carry-on bag. High speed and specialty film should be hand inspected at the security checkpoint. To facilitate hand-inspection, remove your undeveloped film from the canister and pack in a clear plastic bag.
Learn more about transporting film.

Hope this helps and have a great vacation.

Actually, I can't figure out what to say. However, if you are using a laptop, it is better to check if the wireless is turned on. If the wireless is already turned on then you need to check if you can connect to the router directly if it is receiving an internet.
If not, then you need to configure the router in order to get an internet connection. Some router's need to be configured before having an internet connections.
If you can connect with the router directly, then the wireless function is turned off.

For the setup page of the router:
If you still cannot access the setup page of your router, you can try disabling the anti-virus first and try to open the setup page. This always works if you have a high security anti-virus.
If that did not work, then you need to use another browser.

The E5800 is pretty much on par with my E8400 bench mark wise save the extra cache of the E8400.

Change the following

Power supply : 500w or better
Mid range graphics card of choice because the G 310 is pretty weak and will probably stutter if games are set to high.

Other than that for now @ least you should be fine the reason I say mid range graphics card is an uber expensive graphics card would probably be bottle necked by the E5800 making it pointless that and mid range is enough to play modern games @ decent settings.

I've taken plenty of photos out the window while flying. Scanners will not damage your camera. I've heard of memory cards getting corrupted but it has never happen to me.
